The Joint Action Committee Against Anti-Tribal Bills (JAC) paying its utmost respect to the nine Tribal Martyrs, plans to organize the first ‘Tribal Unity Day’ across Manipur on August 31, 2016. In a build up to this day, starting from August 26 (Friday), the JAC will organize a week-long agitation: public meetings, torch rallies, traditional gun salutes and various other forms of protests in Lamka, the epicentre of the ongoing Tribal Movement in Manipur.
Marking this dawn of a new era in tribal brotherhood, the JAC humbly requests the cooperation and support of all individuals, media houses, groups and organisations or associations to feature as Publicity Partners for the first ‘Tribal Unity Day’ on August 31, 2016 at Lamka by printing and putting up banners and posters on the theme of ‘Tribal Unity’ at various locations across the tribal territories, with the option of inserting their own names or logo(s), i.e., names of the partner individuals or groups/ institutions/ organizations/ associations.
All interested individuals and groups/institutions/organizations/associations are requested to print and display them at visible locations of their choice to show their support and participation in the Tribal Movement.
