The Thadou Students’ Association, Bengaluru had successfully organized its third (3rd) Annual Meet –cum- Freshers’ welcome, 2016 yesterday at Yavanika Auditorium, State Youth Centre, Bengaluru from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The function was graced by Pi Nemcha Kipgen, Hon’ble MLA, Manipur as Chief Guest, Pu James Haokip, Secretary-General, TSA-GHQ as Functional President, Pu Bhaskar Rao, IPS (Addl DGP, Crime & Technical Services) as Guest of Honor and Pu N.A. Haris, Hon’ble MLA, Shanthinagar, Karnataka. Guests and dignitaries of the function were felicitated by the President, TSA-B.

In spite of the ongoing assembly sessions, Special Guest Pu N.A. Haris in his speeches urged the Thadou community in Bengaluru to learn local Kannada language and vow to help the community in all aspects. Pu James Haokip, Secretary-General, TSA-GHQ who was the president of the function in his speech echoed the 10 points declarations in Thadou Conclave Delhi, 2015.

Chief Guest of the function Pi Nemcha, who came all the way from Manipur to witness the program highlight the importance of education for any kind of development and plea Pu N.A. Haris, Hon’ble MLA, Bengaluru to support her community living in Bengaluru. Pu Michael Haokip, President of the association in his address gave the annual report and retaliate the aims and objectives of the association. He also urges the community to 

Pu Mimin Kipgen, Chaplain, Thadou Christian Fellowship Church Bengaluru blessed the new Thadou members in Bengaluru for their endeavor in Bengaluru.

One important mark of the function was the citation award selected amongst the entire Thadou community titled “PERSON OF PRINCIPLE” and “PERSON OF ACTION” awarded to Pu SS Haokip & Pu ST Thangboi Kipgen. 

Traditional cultural show, songs and dances, comedy entertainment embrace the function by various local artistes. 

A vote of thanks was delivered to all the well-wishers, contributions, guests, members and whoever involves for the success of the function by Vice-President, Pu Ngamkholen Haokip and the program was concluded with a prayer by Pu Seikhohao Sitlhou, Chairman, TCCA-B.
