Failing to draw positive reponsed from the Manipur University Authority for the revocation of the Dean's Committee Resolution of the 4th April 2016, the Manipur University Tribal Students' Union (MUTSU) have resolved to totally shut-down the University academy activity for two days beginning from 3rd May till 4th May, 2016 as per the previous unanimous resolutions adopted by MUTSU and ATSUM.
The Total shut-down come into effect after MUTSU's two days of Sit-in Protest from date 30th April to 2nd May, 2016 in the University campus where the concerned authority pay no heed on the issue raised through peaceful-Constitutional means.
MUTSU will leave no stone unturned and will march forwardwith further intense agitation with its apex body ATSUM and likeminded Students' Organisation until the Manipur University authority revoke its decision. MUTSU also draws the urgent attention of the State Government to intervene and resolve the Reservation issue in Manipur once and for all before the situation turns from bad to worse.
The Manipur University authority will be held responsibility for any untoward incident during these days of Total Shutdown of the University.
